Background: Kiyoshi, whose birth name was Li Fanxuan, is actually of Chinese decent. He and his sister, Peixian, were brought to Japan from China in order to be servants for a Japanese noble, and had been there for a few weeks when the two were attacked by a vampire late one night. Naturally, Kiyoshi offered himself as a distraction so his sister could flee, fighting with this...thing in order to save her. To this day, he still isn't sure how he managed to survive that night, if you could call it that. He just knew that when he awoke afterward, he'd been bitten. Of course, at the time, he didn't know what that meant, and when he returned to his sister...a terrible tragedy occurred. Unable to control the sudden blood lust in his newly transformed body, he wound up feeding on her, and killing her. It's something that still haunts his nightmares...
After that, he changed his name, ran, and struggled through the years being on his own. And for a long time, he took any job he could find just to make a little money. Eventually, he learned how to control his abilities, and eventually, somehow found himself as an assassin for hire. This helped him survive. Two weeks ago, he was found by Ryuko himself, who offered him a deal. Kiyoshi had avoided others for so long, he thought that, perhaps, it was time to join a family of those in similar situations as himself; somewhere where he could feel he belonged. So he agreed, and went with Ryuko to Inori castle, where he's taken up a job within the clan as a servant. You could say he's something of a rookie butler, though, he probably seems more like a waiter at this point, as he seems to do a lot of work in the kitchen, and fetching food for others.
Kiyoshi is a meek and kinda clumsy person, however, when it's time to get serious, he has the ability to buckle down, and in this frame of mind, rarely makes an error. He's a very logical person; being that he uses logic in almost all situations, rather than letting himself be led by his emotions. He doesn't like being the center of attention, and does his best to keep a low profile. Kiyoshi loves to cook, read, listen to music, and even try his hand at instruments every now and then. Though he's actually quite naturally skilled at them, he tends to be quite modest about it, and will deny it, saying he's not that great of a musician.
The past few days, he's taken notice of a young human maid he's been told is named Ayane. Though he's never spoken to her, and he's not sure if he's even interested in speaking to her, or if it's just his vampire instincts liking the smell of her blood.
