Background: Although Roman is not an original himself, he is the son of an original. His mother, named Irina, was from the first "batch" of originals created by the great Mother of their race. His father, was in a turned lineage, far enough down the line to be considered a pureblood. His mother, in his opinion, was terrifying, cruel, and magnificent. Like a terrifying black widow may sometimes do, Irina killed Roman's father once she had become pregnant.
Irina raised Roman to be just as cruel, and taught him that, instead of being the protectors of the human race, they should be ruling over them, that they were superior to all other creatures, and that humans were no more than lambs awaiting the slaughter. Roman's heart was just as twisted as his mother's, and these ideals took deep roots within him.
When the angels attacked, Irina was one of many to be killed, but Roman had escaped with his life still intact. He didn't fret over the loss of his mother. In fact, he didn't even care. His only problem now was that the kingdom they had built was gone. He would now have to start from the bottom. He began to turn people quite carelessly. Those who actually survived the turn, were recruited into his ranks. He eventually found himself from his home land which would later be known as Barcelona, Spain, and now residing in what would come to be known as Romania. He quietly built up his ranks, both his own turned and other impure and purebloods of similar mindsets, and after some time, gave himself the Romanian surname, Vasile. Eventually, he had enough followers to create his own clan, which he named Drăculea.
He's been a bit of a problem for the Clan Alliance, whereas most of the clans wish to just live as peacefully as possible and secret among the general human population, Roman desires to take over the planet and turn the human race, along with all other races, into slaves of the vampires. He has particular hatred for his "uncle", Ryuko, whose ideals of everyone being equal and protecting humans are filthy and disgraceful in Roman's opinion. But Ryuko has more influence over the rest of the clans than Roman does. Roman feels he needs to dispose of Ryuko and his clan of misfits, before he has a chance to succeed in making the vampires the truly superior race.
Roman's clan consists of vampire members and human slaves/blood slaves only. These slaves are not there by choice, unlike Ryuko's clan, and many others. His clan includes a harem of men and women, both human and vampire, for the rest of the clan members to enjoy. Ryuko as a number of wives, with Lady Maria as his first and righthand woman. With the most recent addition (only about a month in his personal harem of wives), there is a total of four.
The clan, like many other clans, have a number of homes all over the world. Recently, they took up residence at their vacation manor in Japan.
Roman is cold and calculated, with a dark sort of charm about him. Even when angry, he seems to keep his cool, and can even offer up a smile, though threatening as it may be. He's cold to most, the only person he ever seems to show any true affection to, being Maria.
